I've been a STEM Ambassador since 2007.  I have been a judge at the F1 in Schools challenge and GO4SET events, volunteered on the Lab in a Lorry, helped at Science Festivals,  STEM fairs, career events and Rampaging Chariots

WES
I was a Director and Trustee of WES from 2006 to 2015, serving on the WES council. Positions held:

  • President from October 2013 to November 2014
  • Raised funds to digitise the WES Journals
  • Chair of the WES Female Engineering Student Conference from 2012 to 2015 with the responsibility for the program and sourcing speakers
  • Manager of the "Doris Gray Awards" and "Lady Finniston Awards"
  • Organiser of the Girls into STEM event and the Doris Gray Student Conference in 2009
  • Organised "Primary Girls Introduction to STEM " events for Primary 7 girls for schools local to Leonardo
    on the National / International Women in Engineering Days 2014 to 2018
